Korea: A Seoul-ful Adventure

View from the plane to South Korea was already promising.

Sometimes the biggest surprises come when you don’t expect anything. My first journey to South Korea back in 2019 falls into this category.

I planned to solo travel, looked up save countries for female solo travelers, spotted South Korea, listened to my gut and booked that flight. While I was wandering through the streets of Seoul, sometimes a little lost and overwhelmed, but mostly just fascinated, I found myself again - as cheesy as it may sound. Through that journey South Korea kept a little part of mine. I guess, that’s why it always pulls me back to that country. It just became my happy place.

Be it the buzzing, eager lifestyle in Seoul, literally breathtaking hikes around Sokcho, no less beautiful cities like Suwon and Daegu, outta world seafood in Busan and so, so much more - there are adventures for every taste that just bring nothing but happiness and joy to your soul.

I’m convinced that a journey to South Korea can be one of those experiences, that can have a lasting, positive impact on your life. It made me a more curious, confident, fearless person; I became so open-minded to new cultures, discovered new interests like learning Korean. Not to mention, that the Korean cuisine was a pure revelation for me, haha.

I hope, that you as well can make South Korea a seoul-ful adventure for yourself. Let’s share that happiness with one another.
