The crown jewel of Suwon is undoubtedly the Hwaseong Fortress, a breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage site. Built in the late 18th century during the Joseon Dynasty, this impressive structure encircles the city center and offers a fascinating glimpse into Korea’s historical past.
